Happenings are on the rise in Nigeria and with each new day. Some of the latest Nigerian events are discussed in the article.Event planners are busy preparing the numerous functions that are upcoming. An example is the Business Trade show and conference which will be in the city of Abuja.

The main reason behind the hosting of this event is to look into the different ways that will help improve the agricultural sector. The people will benefit from this by the increased availability of food in the country, creation of jobs and promotion of the revenue of the country. In the guest list will be highly valued agriculturalists and other honored members.

The killing of an average of seventy people belonging to an Islamist terror group also made recent headlines. Those responsible for this are the military troops of Nigeria during one of their many tasks. This was not the first time that these two groups were colliding as similar cases had been witnessed in the past.

Forums are being put in place in Nigeria to teach on the importance of carrying out research with a motive of attaining development. The main target group ids the young people who are seen as the cornerstones of the country. Encouragement is put to them to engage in adequate and frequent investigation on how to venture into new areas that have not seen much involvement in the past years.

International matters entail that the state is expected to play host to the global meeting on economic matters. High profile individuals are required to show up including rulers of the various republics and other well respected personalities. It will be held in the capital city. This makes Nigeria the leading state in west of Africa to host such a gathering. The theme of this meeting is to look into the challenges and the prospects there are for development through Africa.

Still in connection with the Islam troop, they are said to have kidnapped school girls from a secondary school located in place known as Chibok. This town is mainly dominated by Christians and the motive for this doing is not clear but some say that they will be converted to slaves or forced into marriages which are wrong. People are mainly engaging themselves in prayers hoping for the best.

Other news report that the elections planned next year may not be successful. Insecurity is partly to blame for this. This is because with such a high rate of crime, the time is not yet ripe for new leaders to be chosen and according to their constitution, if elections are not held then the reigning president is bound to continue serving but all in all, this is just a general view.

The lives of many in Nigeria are at risk with public service vehicles being the main target. Currently suspects of these crimes are being held in cells as further investigations are being carried.
